TOCHTLI JULIETTE ANTON's Obituary
Tochtli Juliette Mottet Ugalde Antón
Born on January 2, 1920, in Liège, Belgium, Tochtli, age 89, resided in San Bernardino since 1945. Her life was a celebration shared with husband, Roger who predeceased her by 33 years, and was devoted to her six children. Tochtli passed away after a long illness on August 25 surrounded by many of her children, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her Savior. Her life brimmed with the love of family and friends; she brightened every person she met; and, throughout her life, her faith was a pillar of support. Tochtli was a Bilingual Instructional Assistant in the San Bernardino City Unified School District for more than 18 years helping countless second language children be successful in school. She was an educator who made a difference in children one child at a time. Visitation is at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Celebration will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino.
