Thomas Medlin Minor, a resident of Yucaipa, CA passed away 9/22/12 in Redlands,CA. Born in Independence, MO on 3/14/31, came to San Bernardino in 1945. Graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1949. Married to Virginia for 58 years. Served as a Marine in the Korean War. He was with the San Bernardino Police Department for 36 years. Retired as Assistant Chief of Police. Served as the S.B. 5th Ward Councilman. Served as Mayor of San Bernardino from 1993-1998. Proud Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Survived by wife Virginia, children Larry Minor (Teri) Janet Giudice (Paul) John Minor (Deceased) and Becky Malachowski (Jim) and 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Hobbies included family adventures, reading, history, and politics. And he loved the Dodgers.
