the litras family I remember back, to a greek easter at jim's house, I do not remember the year but stathie was 13 or 14 and playing the piano in the formal living room. that was the first time I met tommy. such a gentle man. so caring for his family and yaya. as time went by I saw the love and caring, your family gave to tommy. as years passed and yaya was getting older I heard your concerns about tommy and how he would manage. then when yaya passed and you realized he could live on his own it was a big step forward for his independence. then the job for the city , came along, and what a blessing that was, for tommy, and all of you. his tasks, at city hall, may have seemed small to some people, but those who knew tommy and loved him, knew it was, at time challenging for him.
he did an outstanding job and made many friends along the way. he had responsibilities, he was independent, and had self asteem for his accomplishments. you, the litras family are remarkable, you allowed him to spead his wings, as wide as he could, always waiting in the wings to protect him, if he needed it.
as the years passed, you made sure he was safe and well cared for. your family are like strands of yarn, that when woven together created a beautiful blanket of love and compassion to keep tommy safe and loved.
tommy lived, he accomplished, he loved his family and the last chapter of his book is complete. tommy is so lucky to be a litras.
I was out of town and so sorry I could not be at his service. thinking of all of you,
love sandy dedoes
