Theresa Gail Paramo's Obituary
On June 11, 2025, Theresa Gail Paramo went home to be with our Lord, surrounded by her family after 86 faithful years. Theresa grew up in Redlands and Bloomington and graduated from Colton HS in 1956. She was gifted with a beautiful voice and performed with her high school chorus, often having solo performances. She would continue to sing for family weddings and in the church choir at St Adelaide and St. John Bosco. Her love for singing was second only to her love of golf and watching her children and later her grandchildren play sports. Theresa worked for San Bernardino County; first in the assessor's office then for 30 plus years as a Superior Court Clerk. She was well respected by all who entered her court room.
Theresa was a lifelong parishioner of St. Adelaide Catholic Church, where She married the love of her life in 1957. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Paramo after 60 years of faithful marriage. Theresa is survived by her 5 children: son Ernest and (Andrea) Paramo of Redlands, daughter Jeannette and (Dr. John) Steinmann of Redlands, son Patrick and (Corina) Paramo of Highland, daughter Renee Paramo of Highland, son Steven and (Evette) Paramo of Highland. She will be greatly missed by her 20 grandchildren, 43 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is survived by 2 sisters, Annette Gray and Linda Delgado. Preceded in death by her grandson Andrew Paramo; her parents John and Tomása Gonzales, 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
Theresa leaves us not to mourn her passing but to celebrate her life and legacy of faith and family. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who consistently went above and beyond for her family and friends. Theresa will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4:00-5:00 pm followed by the Rosary at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:30 am at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 Base Line St., Highland, CA 92346. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, CA 92324.
