Theodore "Ted" George Theodorou's Obituary
Theodore “Ted” Theodorou, 87, of Riverside, CA passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 in Riverside. He is survived by his wife, Helene, of 28 years, daughters, Annette Rodriguez & Alysia Jennings. Also, a dad to Helene’s children, Stephen Winegar, Cynde Webb, & Jill Seig. Also surviving is a sister, Annette Karas & brother, Dr. Tony Theodorou, DDS & adored by his grandsons, Mitch, Nick, Jacob, Ben & Adrian.
Ted was born in St. Louis, MO and grew up in Aliquippa, PA. Later he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and then joined the USAF. He retired as a Lt. Colonel after serving 20 years. After his military career, Ted worked with Cousoullis Development Company for 40 years, serving as Vice President. Resident of this area and a member of St. Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox church for the past 44 years. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, with a Trisagion to follow at Bobbitt’s. Funeral services will be at 12 noon, on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, San Bernardino, CA with interment & military honors at Green Acres Cemetery, Bloomington, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Ted Theodorou’s name to St. Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 311 San Bernardino, CA 92402 and/or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. On line condolences may be left at bobbittchapel.com.
