Dear Pastor Rob, Cheryl, Lauren, Steven, Tabitha & Dylan,
You have been in our prayers so frequently not only now but over many months. We know this has been a very challenging time for all of you and want you to know we will continue to hold you all before the Throne of Grace in the days and months ahead.
Also, the ladies in the Tuesday night Bible study and both of us are asking others to join us in honoring Sue’s memory with a specific Memorial Prayer, praying & praising Ephesians 3:14b-21. We are asking God for a miracle for all of you and all of us, your IBC family, and anyone touched by Sue’s life or home going, would so grow in our love for Jesus, and be so “filled and flooded with God Himself’ (verse 19) that a great and mushrooming revival would reach out from Highland to the world. This along with God’s perfect peace and comfort are our prayers for each of you.

Dear Ones,
We are so very sorry, yet glad to know Sue isn't just in a better place, she is in the place we are all born to REALLY live for eternity. And even now she is with our Savior and those who have gone before. We know God will be your comfort through this sad and very difficult adjustment. We will continue to pray for grace, peace and strength for your journey. God has promised, and so He will pour out all you need in abundance to walk this road.

In this bittersweet time of losing Sue, We can only imagine what she must be experiencing now. She no doubt has heard the words that we all long to here from our Lord, "Well done my good and faithfull servant." When I think of how life has been cut so short for two of the most influential women in my life, it hurts. I loved Sue like a member of my family and she will always have a special place in my heart and the heart of my family.
When my mother passed several years ago now Sue gave me a book to read. It was called "Gone from our sight". I still have it to this day. On the back is a poem that reminds us that just as we are saying goodbye to our loved ones here, God and many others are welcoming her home in Heaven. I believe one of those welcoming her is my mother. My mother and Sue were best friends in this life and I hope that God sees it fit to allow them to be friends for eternity.
Rob, Steve, Tabitha & Dylan, Cheryl, and Lauren, I love you all and I am praying God gives you the strength to endure the heartache you are feeling right now. Your mother lives on in each of you.
I once heard it said that our children are our message to a time we will never know. Be a powerful message! God knows your mother gave you the tools...
