I can't begin to tell you how saddened I am to hear of Steven's passing. We had many daily conversations back in Sept. and he always seemed so positive about things. I'm sorry I never had the chance to know him better. He was a unique and deep person and my heart is broken that he is no longer with us. I just wanted you to know how much I cared for Steven. We started Art Institute together as "older" students. Even our birthdays were 1 day apart although I was considerably older! I will remember him as a genuine and kind man who always took the time to talk to a friend. I never felt rushed into trivial conversation with him; it was always from the heart.
