Stanley Clebeck Jr's Obituary
Stanley Clebeck born in Los Angeles, California, October 4, 1929, passed away June 6, 2017, in
Palm Springs, CA with family at his side. Stanley died doing what he loved to do most, flying. His
love of flying began at an early age, and received his first pilot license at about age 15 in San
Bernardino. From there he became an instructor for single and multi-engine planes as well as
instrument flying. His knowledge of flying was legendary. Stanley graduated from San
Bernardino High School in 1947 and continued to further his education at San Bernardino Valley
College. He enlisted in the Airforce and is a Korean War veteran. Stanley is survived by his wife
Diane, having been married 62 years. Also surviving are children, Jay Clebeck, Jeffrey Clebeck,
Suzan Bromley & husband Terry, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother, Billy
Clebeck, sisters, Joan Simoneaux and Peggy Soulliere.
Graveside services are scheduled June 20, 2017 @ 10:30 am, staging area 3, @ Riverside National
Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518. A gathering for family and friends will
be held immediately after services @ Our Lady Of Hope, 6885 Del Rosa Ave., San Bernardino, CA
92404.
