Socorro teresa Cervantes' Obituary
Socorro “Cora” Cervantes, 88, passed away May 12, 2011 in Pasadena due to complications of a stroke.
Born in Devore, Cora was a life long resident of San Bernardino. She worked with her sister Ruth Aburto at Eden’s Flowers for 36 years, and was a 20 year volunteer with the Auxiliary at St. Bernardine Medical Center.
Cora is survived by her husband of 59 years, Antonio; daughters Martha (Tom) Korbuszewski of Eagle River, AK; Letty (Bill) Cosso of Sierra Madre, CA; sons Antonio of Los Angeles; David (Beth) of Phoenix, AZ and Gabriel (Eileen) of Appleton, WI; and grandchildren Molly Cervantes, Andrew Cervantes, Jillian Cervnates, and Will Cosso.
Rosary will be Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA
Mass will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Ave, San Bernardino, followed by entombment at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington.
