Knew something happened and my sympathy to my cousins and their families. Remembering the good times and laughter when we did manage to get together, especially the tent on the patio we built! Exclusive family members only! Shirley and I had a lot in common...I will make sure I visit when it is my turn to join you!

We are so sorry to learn of Shirley’s passing. We’ve been customers of Jerry for decades and, once he’d solved our plumbing problems, we’d invariably wind up standing at the front door speaking to him about life in general for 10-15 minutes. He’d talk about growing up in San Bernardino, family trips to Tennessee, books he’d read recently, etc. But mostly he talked about Shirley. It was clear to us that he adored Shirley and the life they shared together. We send our deepest sympathies to Jerry. Rest in peace, Shirley.

Although I never met Shirley in person, I feel that the world has lost someone who made life richer and sweeter for everyone who had the good fortune to know her. My condolences go out to Jerry and her family and friends.
Shirley was a good neighbor to both my mother-in-law and my family when we moved into Betty's house after her passing. We live across the street. I remember Betty having and enjoying their many long conversations both on the phone and in person. We will also miss her waving to us when we both were out in our yards. I'll remember her opening their gate, before her illness, so Jerry could back his truck in after a job. I remember her taking the service calls for their business and her preparing the invoices. She was a good partner. Our family was their customer for both our residences and the business for many years. Jerry would occasionally call Shirley when he was finishing up so she could start their dinner. She was a good wife, partner and friend. She will be missed.
