Sheran Jay Ferrin's Obituary
Sheran "Jay" Ferrin 88, passed away at home in Bullhead, Arizona, on Sunday
July 19, 2026, surrounded by family and love ones.
Jay was a longtime resident of Highland California, where he lived for 56
years before relocating to Bullhead Arizona. Although he started his career as a
Tax Auditor for the State of California, He moved on to his true passion and opened his
own business, American Income Tax and Bookkeeping Service. He provided tax
and bookkeeping services to individuals, families, and local business for more than
35 years. In addition to his passion for finance and numbers, Jay cherished his family
above all else. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose love,
kindness and unwavering support touched the lives of so many.
Jay is survived by his three daughters, Bobbie Miller of Bullhead, Arizona; Sherry Heishman of Yucaipa, California; and Cindy Tryon of Yucaipa, California; his son, Todd
Ferrin of Highland, California; his brother, Farrel Ferrin of Missoula, Montana; his nine grandchildren and fourteen great- grandchildren.
Jay will be remembered for his love of family, sense of humor, hard-working work
ethic, dedication to his profession and his financial soundness. His memory will
remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be deeply missed.
Visitation/Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 4PM-8PM at
Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. Graveside services will
be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 10AM at Mt. View Cemetery
