While we never had the privilege of meeting Sharon personally, we had the unique blessing of getting to know Sharon through our friendship with Jake. We can think of no greater tribute to a mother than this: that there was never a doubt that she was loved by her son. What greater gift could a mother give in this life than to impart a piece of herself into the heart of her family? We hold great hope in the resurrection of Christ our Lord. Please know that we will continue to pray for Sharon's soul and for your dear family.

Dear Mom,
Today I’m here not to say goodbye to an amazing and inspiring woman, but to say thank you.
The older I get, the more I realize what a fantastic gift it is to have a parent who believes you can be anything you wanted to be. And not only did my mom think that, but she made sure that I had every opportunity so that I could to become whatever I wanted to be.
The most important gift my mom gave me was not a love for her many passions, but a glowing example of the kind of person we should be. My mom was stubborn, direct, passionate, and never afraid to be herself. My mom was the ultimate model of how to be a strong, confident person, and for that, I am genuinely grateful.
So thank you, mom, for always supporting and inspiring me and everyone in your life, and for being the ultimate model of how to live life. I won’t say goodbye because I know your legacy continues to live through me moving forward.
