Scott Alan Bayless' Obituary
Scott Alan Bayless, a longtime resident of San Bernardino, California passed away on
December 27th, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Scott was born on August 6, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ruby and Charles Bayless. His
family moved to Fontana, California when Scott was two years old. Scott graduated from
Fontana High School in 1985 and continued on to college to pursue a career in photography,
which lead him to a very successful career in Radiology for nearly 25 years. Scott was
employed with the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda as PACS Manager
for the Radiology Department. He loved his job and the veterans he served. Scott was a
member of the Patriot Guard Riders and University Park Church in San Bernardino. Scott loved
to scuba dive, travel and ride his motorcycle.
Scott was a true testament of God’s miracles. Even though he faced many health issues
throughout his life, he always had a positive attitude and never complained. He will be greatly
missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Ruby (Bayless) Hamilton; his father Charles Bayless
and step-father Harold Hamilton.
Scott is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christie (Rojas) Bayless; brother Steven Bayless; sister Barbara Mueller; step-brothers Tom and Jim Hamilton; step-sister Nancy Hamilton; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and the rest of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave.,
San Bernardino, CA. 92404 on Friday, January 18th at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the
same location. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald
House; 11365 Anderson St. Loma Linda, CA 92354.
