Samuel H. Miller
1914 – 2009
Samuel H. Miller, 95, resident of Marin County from 1952 to 1979 upon retiring from Safeway Stores, went peacefully to be with the Lord He loved on the evening of August 17, 2009 at Quaker Gardens Home in Orange County, California, with family at his bedside.
A native of New Mexico, Samuel was married to Ruth Wylie Miller for 50 years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Joyce Ann Presler, his son James Samuel Miller, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Orin Caton and beloved niece Sharon Wright.
A memorial will be held at 7:30 pm, Wed., August 26, 2009 at the meeting place of the church in San Bernardino located at 1900 E. Lynwood Dr., San Bernardino, CA 92404, and at 1:00 pm, Fri., August 28th at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, Sneath Lane and Highway 280.
