RUTH G. HILTON's Obituary
Ruth Hilton, 88, succumbed to Multiple Myeloma, on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at her home in Redlands.
Ruth was born in Paden, OK, the 11th of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mary Lewis; 6 brothers and 4 sisters; her son, Eugene Emerson; son in law, Eugene Young, granddaughter, Cynthia Young; grandson, Gregory Emerson and 3 husbands, Lonnie Emerson, Hiram Smith and Ross Hilton.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a sister, Faye Stephens of OK; 2 daughters, Velma Young of San Bernardino, Faye Warmack and son in law, Jerry of Redlands, daughter in law, Mary Emerson of TX; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2008 both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #2.
