Ruth Carmen Dement's Obituary
Ruth C. Dement 87, passed away February 8, 2011 in Fontana, California. Originally from Delta UT, Ruth had spent the majority of her life in San Bernardino. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She loved to sing and had been a member of The Prime Time Choraliers.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert G. Christopherson and her second husband Howard G. Dement.
She is survived by her children Joseph (Bonnie) Christopherson, Evan (DeNese) Christopherson, Robin (Dallas) Steere, Ruth (Paul) Tautz, Harold Christopherson, Gina (Samuel) Vega, David (Sheila) Dement, Gerry (Michelle) Dement, and her step daughter Cheri (Kenny) Grebel. Also surviving her are her 33 grand children and 22 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. in the Relief Society Room, with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 9533 Hickory Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345. A graveside will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St. Colton, CA.
