ROY DARRELL COX's Obituary
Roy Darrell Cox, 87, went to be with his wife on May 9, 2006. He was born and spent his life until retirement in San Bernardino, CA where he was an orange grower and poultry farmer. His grandfather, Aaron Cox, and father, Roy Cox, were pioneers in the local orange industry and he followed in their footsteps. Darrell moved with his wife Arline to Cedar City, UT after he retired. He had a rough exterior, but was a kind and gentle man and was loved by all. Darrell is survived by: his sons Kenneth Cox (Diane) of Rialto, CA and Gary Cox(Shauna) of the Virgin Islands, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and his sister, Beth Thomas of Encinitas, CA. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404 with interment to follow at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
