Roy Winfield Busier's Obituary
Roy Winfield Busier, 84 a San Bernardino County resident of 63 years, passed away, February 22, 2008 in Highland. Roy served in the US Army Infantry as a light machine gunner in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. Roy worked in the motorpool at Norton AFB for 32 years and was considered to be a hard working man up until his health failed him fourteen years ago. Roy enjoyed playing pinochle and entertaining his friends, who often came over to his house for one of Jo’s famous breakfasts. Survivors include: his wife of 65 years Josephine, daughters Diane (Gaylord) Spence, Kathy (Dean) Mackelprang, Joyce Armstrong, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews and special mention of three close family friends, Lauraine, Stan, and Lou. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, from 4-7 p.m. with services at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino, on Wednesday, February 27th at 1:00 pm, with a private committal to follow.
