Rose G. Pompa peacefully passed away on October 31,2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57years Joe C. Pompa, Sr. Rose was born in San Antonio,Texas on May 1, 1932. She moved to California with herfamily in 1961. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, playingBingo and Bunco, and especially family gatherings.
Rose is survived by her 3 children, Patricia Pompa-Gardner (Mark), Joe C. Pompa, Jr. (Leslie), and DennisPompa (Jaci); 8 grandchildren, Jamie Lizarraga (Alfonso),Jesse Pompa (Michelle), Julie Schmitz (Ryan), AmandaGardner-Zilinsky (Matt), Monica Jenkins (Jack); MichaelGardner (Amy), Caty Freeman (Andy), and Caroline Pompa, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023,from 4pm to 7pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. A Chapelservice will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 12noon, also at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. Rose will be reunited with her husband at Riverside National Cemetery.
