Mr. Ronald O. Mills' Obituary
Ronald O. Mills, 70, passed away April 26, 2014 in Highland, California surrounded by his family after a brave and lengthy battle with Multiple Myeloma. Originally from Queens, New York Ron had lived in the Highland area for over 35 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the 60’s. He met Susan Bailey in 1966; they married in 1968 in New Jersey and moved to various cities in Florida and Illinois. They had three lovely daughters over the following years and finally settled in Highland.
Ron worked for over 45 years as a representative for restaurant tableware, primarily focusing on hotels and fine dining such as Spago’s and Disneyland Hotel and was well known for his beautiful presentations.
He was locally famous for his Christmas decorations and was known in the family as having a ‘creative eye’.
He is survived by Susan his wife of 46 years. Also surviving him are his daughters, Kimberly (Darrin) Brown of Highland, CA, Jennifer Mills of San Diego, CA and Lauren (Douglas) Murphy of Redlands, CA and his grandchildren, Devon Brown, Demi Brown, Dillon Brown, Logan Murphy, Addison Murphy and his sister Christine (Gary) Scott of Virginia Beach, VA.
