Ronald Fosdick's Obituary
Ronald Edson Fosdick, 72, died on January 7, 2010 at his home in Cherry Valley.
He was born June 27, 1937 in San Bernardino, Ca. He was a 1955 graduate of Pacific High School where he established many life long friendships and a strong passion for the game of football. When he was 18 years old he joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. For over 54 years he worked hard to provide for his family and earned tremendous respect from his co-workers. He rose to the top of his trade and at the time of his death he was still working hard as an active and very proud member of Local 364.
In 1967 he moved his family to Yucaipa where he wasted no time in establishing himself as a strong asset to the community. He lived in Yucaipa for 37 years. Among his many contributions he was most proud of the 26 years he spent coaching Junior All American Football and Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Fosdick, his four children, Ronald Fosdick Junior, Steven Fosdick, Vicki Wood, and Susan Diaz. Three step children, Vicky Cowen, Terry Voles, and Annette Kampman. 18 Grandchildren. Two brothers, Larry Fosdick and Denny Fosdick. One sister, Linda Lee, and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino on Tuesday January 12th from 5pm to 7pm. Bobbitt’s will also host the services which will be held on January 13th at 10am.
