ROBERTA - MURAD's Obituary
Roberta Murad, 88, passed away January 15, 2009 in Highland, CA. Originally from Louisiana, Roberta grew up in Jamaica and also spent time in Canada and various states across the United States. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life, however she also managed the medical office of her late husband Dr. Leslie Murad and was the proprietor of a gift shop in Highland. She was a member of Highland Women’s Club and Trinity Episcopal Church Altar Guild. She is survived by her children Margaret Sellman (Ralph), Mr. Robert Murad (Sharon), Mrs Irene Haney (Jim), Dr. Joanie Haid (Joe), Hon. Leslie Murad II (Marilynn), Dr. Wadie Murad (Rosie) and Mrs Bim Mantle (Jon); 19 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404 from 5-7p.m. There will be a funeral service to celebrate her life on Thursday, January 22nd at 10:00 am. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 419 S. 4th Street (Fern Cross Street), Redlands, CA 92373.
