I was so honored to have Mr. Redden facilitate a Board of Review on one at my projects at Caltrans in 1998. He approached the task in an intelligent, thorough, and fair manner. Through the entire process respect and integrity were demonstrated, and expected. Because of his contribution to my project, I was elated to see him recently at the I-15 Ranchero Road Ribbon Cutting.
Mr. Redden made a unique impression on me that will be long lasting and I strive to emulate his fine qualities in my own career and lifetime. Please accept my condolences on your (our) loss.
Sincerely,
Paula Beauchamp
Bob Redden was a very special man who contributed much in the communities in which he lived and worked and was a hugh Asset to CalTrans over the many years he worked for the organization. I first met Bob when I worked as an aide for the State Senator of the area and we were dealing with some major signing problems related to the motoring public. While supporting the Caltrans posiition on the issue he worked with us to resolve the challenge and arrive at a compromise that worked for all parties. As I think of Bob I think of his expertise and personality which he used in this situation and many others, as I worked with him over the years.
Our lives were far better off for having known and worked with Bob Redden!! Our prayers are with his family.
