Robert "Bob" Long's Obituary
Robert Long, was born in Carrollton, Missouri on October 18, 1931, to Charles Long and Sara Daffodill.
Also known as “Bob” to his family & friends, and “papaw” by his grandbabies, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in San Bernardino, with his family at his side.
A resident of San Bernardino for over 80 years, Bob is preceded in death by two of his sons; Kirk William and Kenneth David Long.
Survived by his wife of 71 years, Sally, two sons; Keith (Sue), Bobby (Joanne), daughter; Kristie (Bryan), as well as his daughter-in-law, Lynne, he was a grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 23 great & 1 great-great grandchild.
He worked for Santa Fe railroad for 20 years, as well as the owner of Midnight Auto Wrecking for 32 years, which was located here in San Bernardino.
Bob had a passion for old cars, especially his ’33 Ford, working on his ranch
