ROBERT E. FUNKE JR.'s Obituary
Robert E. Funke, Jr., 52, passed away June 30, 2008, at Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles. Bob was born in Los Angeles and was a lifetime resident of Long Beach. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved animals and had a vast knowledge of botany.
He is survived by his brother, John Funke of Iowa; sister-in-law, Joyce Funke of Rialto; two nephews, Joe Wallace of San Bernardino and Michael Wallace of Fontana; cousin, Elizabeth Weinstein and her husband, Neil, of Marion, SC.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 17th, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino.
