Robert Erwin Crissinger's Obituary
Bob E. Crissinger, 79 of Highland, CA passed away on January 1, 2010 of natural causes' he was surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 3, 1930 in Lebanon, PA to Walter M. Crissinger and Frances H. Crissinger.
He is survived by his wife Lois, two children Kenneth Crissinger, Sandra Hurwit, 2 grandchildren, his sister's Wanda Spees and Irene Page, and his 5 step children. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Crissinger.
He graduated from Monrovia High School and shortly their after joined the United States Army. Bob loved to work with his hands, building many things with wood. In his younger days he loved golfing, bowling and fishing; he loved the mountains, especially Big Bear Lake, CA. Bob was a man with a permanent smile on his face and always there to lend a helping hand. In the later parter of his life he and his wife Lois were very involved with Santa Claus Inc. a nonprofit organization providing gifts to needy children.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 1:00p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404
