ROBERT EUGENE ALEXANDER June 25, 1922 ~ August 5, 2006 Pearl Harbor Survivors Life Member Robert E. Alexander, 84, of Rialto died peacefully August 5th surrounded by his family at Redlands Community Hospital. Robert, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana lived in Rialto with his beautiful wife Virginia of 63 years. He was a veteran of Pearl Harbor Invasion (US Navy, USS Sacramento), and a life member and Chaplain of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Chapter #9. He spent many years in the automobile business and acted as state manager for Ozark National Insurance. He remained active in business and continued to mentor others in need as well as spending quality time with his family. He leaves behind his wife Virginia; son, Michael; daughter, Rebecca; brother, Don; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. A service will be held Wednesday, August 16 at 12:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.
