RITA FRANCES BACHMAN's Obituary
Rita Frances Bachman died June 4, 2009, while a resident of Wildwood Canyon Villa, Yucaipa, California. She was 80 years old. Rita was a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio. She graduated from Kent State University, Kent Ohio, with a BA in English, and a BS in Education. Rita lived in San Bernardino for 39 years, and Highland for 10 years. She was a business woman in Cleveland and also taught school in Cleveland and San Bernardino. She also worked for the department of Defense Audiovisual Agency at Norton AFB. She was a member of St. Adelaide Church. She enjoyed spending time at the Highland Senior Center, adn being part of the Sing-A-Long Group every week. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bachman, in 2000. She is survived by six children: Robert, Theresa, Mary, Ellen, Kathleen, and John. She has eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be private, at the Riverside National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15th, 11:00 A.M., at St. Adelaides Church, 27457 E. Baseline St., Highland, CA 92376.
