Richard Dean Sanchez's Obituary
Richard Dean Sanchez, 50 of San Bernardino passed away suddenly Thursday December 8, 2011. He was born on October 18, 1961 in Loma Linda, CA. He graduated from San Gorgonio High School in 1979. He was employed by Courtesy Ambulance as an EMT and then went on to be Operations Manager. Richard also was a Paramedic Instructor at Crafton Hills College. In 1990, he had a career change and was hired by California Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer and later went to the Transportation Unit. His most recent position was Parole Agent and a part time employee with the San Bernardino Municipal Enforcement.
Richard had an avid love for music, wrestling and boxing.
He was preceded in death by his infant son Justin.
Survived by his parents Richard and Ramona Sanchez; wife, Roseann; children Theresa Villalvazo, Jennifer Sanchez (Noel Cardenas) and Richard Sanchez Jr.; Grandchild Tristan Villalvazo; Sisters Jo Ann (Mario) Flores, Patricia Sanchez- Calderon, Denise Sanchez (Joe Simental), Sandra (Michael) Wood and Yvette (Michael) Rivera. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Viewing will be Friday December 16, 2011 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with Rosary at 7:30pm at Bobbitt Memorial Home 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of the Assumption Church 796 W. 48th St. San Bernardino, CA 92407. With burial immediately following at Mt. View Cemetery 570 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404.
