Mr. Richard Lawrence Preciado's Obituary
Richard ‘Dick’ Preciado, 93, passed away on October 13, 2016, at his home in Highland CA. A lifelong resident of San Bernardino, Richard graduated from Colton High School in 1941. He honorably served his country during WWII in the US Navy from 1942-44 serving in the Pacific Fleet.
After returning from war, Richard worked as an insurance agent for Prudential, which he continued until just a few years prior to his passing. He then went to work for Weber Baking Company as a Salesman and Delivery Driver. After 25 years with Weber, he worked part time at Mt. View Cemetery and then went to work for Bobbitt Chapel for over 25 years. He was a member of The Benevolent Protective Order of Elks – San Bernardino #836 for many years and a long time member of Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral.
Richard was preceded in death by his son Michael Hough and his brother Frank Preciado.
He is survived by Sylvia, his loving wife of 33 years, along with his children, Teresa, Patrick, Deborah, Michelle, and Krista, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his brothers Col. Robert A Preciado, Phillip Preciado, and many lifelong friends.
