Richard Lee Palmer's Obituary
Richard L. Palmer, 71 of Rialto passed away at his home Saturday. Born in Arkansas, Mr. Palmer came to San Bernardino in 1943 and has resided in Rialto since 1962. He worked as a machinist helper at Halsey Machine Shop from 1956 until 1982. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Geneva, 3 sons, Gary of Vancouver, WA, Robert of Rialto and Rick of Redlands, a brother David of Oregon and a sister Margaret Jones of California, 6 grandchildren 3 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Avenue in Bloomington.
