Richard E. Mora's Obituary
Richard E. Mora passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021, at the age of 77. Richard was born to Santos and Petra Mora on August 14, 1943, in San Bernardino, California. He was the youngest of seven children. Born and raised in San Bernardino, Richard lived there for 73 years; he lived the last four years in Redlands.
He was a graduate of San Bernardino High School’s Class of 1961. He was married to Susan “Sukie” Sanchez (Mora) and they had four children. They divorced and he later remarried Clara Martinez (Mora) and they had one daughter.
Richard worked the majority of his retail career as a Store Manager and later promoted to District Manager of Karl's Shoe Stores and Canada Shoe Stores; upon his retirement, he was employed with Santa Barbara Aerospace as a Maintenance Worker and Warehouse Worker for Botanical Science, both at the San Bernardino Airport, and Baggage Handler for Ontario Airport.
He is survived by his sister - Josephine Ramos of Santa Barbara, CA; Daughters - Yvonne Couture (Oleh Prystavskyy) of Avondale, AZ; Lisa Mora of Yucaipa, CA; Monique (Paul) Guerrero of San Bernardino, CA; Victoria Mora of San Bernardino, CA; and Son - Dominic (Erina) Mora of Gold River, CA; 15 grandchildren - Joseph, Richard Lee, Nicole, Eduardo, Tiffanie, Joseph, Liana, Anna, Mikkie, Gianna, Paul Michael, Veronica, Valerie, Angelina and Angel and 3 great-grandchildren - Jack, Alaina and Max.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Petra Mora; 5 siblings - Mary Cadena; Prudence Avina; Lupe Huerta; Delores Morgan and Manuel Mora.
The family will have a private memorial in August.
