Richard Clayton's Obituary
Richard “Shaggy” Clayton, 60, of Yucaipa, California passed away on October 6, 2019.
Richard was born on July 10, 1959 in Duluth, Minnesota. Richard spent his early years in California where he eventually met the love of his life, Leslie Clayton, and spent the next 21 years happily married to her. Richard started his business Maui Handy Man as a teenager and was very proud to watch it grow over the years. He was also a successful Real Estate Broker. In his spare time Richard enjoyed going on cruises all around the world, going fishing, camping, spoiling his grandchildren, and was a proud and passionate member of Bikers Against Child Abuse for many years.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Terry. He is survived by his mom, Donna Clayton, loving wife Leslie Clayton, children: Jeremy (Krista) Carroll, Angela (Patrick) Renfrow, Richard (Diana) Clayton Jr., Brittany (Mark) Nelson, Benjamin Clayton, and Lillian Clayton; 7 Grandchildren, and plenty of family and friends that will dearly miss him.
A Celebration of life will be held at Active Church in Yucaipa, California on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.. Richard will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Redlands at a later date.
