Mr. Raymond Leon Brooks' Obituary
Ray L. Brooks, 63, of Highland CA, passed away on July 22, 2015 in Riverside, CA of multiple myeloma cancer. A native Californian, Ray graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino. He became a Police Officer in 1974 until 1979 when he was shot in the line of duty. Ray worked for over twenty years as a manager in the grocery industry and he recently retired as an Area Manager for Allstate Insurance Company where he had worked for eleven years.
Ray was an avid fisherman who liked to participate in the US Open Fishing Tournaments. He also enjoyed travelling and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
In 2002, Ray was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and battled the disease until the end.
He is survived by Mary his wife of 39 years. Also surviving him are his daughters Michele Brooks and Jennifer (Justin) Campbell, his father Tom Brooks, his siblings Yvonne, Theresa, and Steven and his grandchildren Gavin and Megan Campbell.
