RAYMOND JOHN ANDREOLA (ANDY)
74 passed away Sept 3, 2009 at Reche Canyon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Colton California after battling Parkinson’s disease for eight years. Raymond was born on-December 1, 1934 in Brooklyn NY. Raymond nicknamed Andy, served in the US Air Force as a Medic from 1952 to 1973. Serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars he retired from military service at McGuire AFB, N.J. and settled in San Bernardino CA in 1973. Raymond followed his military career by working with the California Dept. of Corrections as a Medical Technician until retiring in 1984.
A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Raymond is survived by his wife of 44 years Esther J. Andreola and his four children, Raymond A. Andreola, Christine R. Lozon, Anthony J. Andreola and Kimberly M. Kelzer. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Anthony J. Andreola, Amy J. Lozon, Brandi M. Andreola, Mathew G. Lozon, Kaitlyn C. Kelzer and Sarah J. Kelzer.
Andy enjoyed family gatherings, mingling with his many friends at the VFW, Eagles and American Legion. Andy also liked to R.V., play darts and golf. His family and friends will miss him.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 10, 5 to 7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m., Staging area #5 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside. Memorial Services will follow at 12:00 p.m.at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino.
