Mr Ray Thornton Griggs' Obituary
Ray Griggs, 80, passed away in Grand Terrace, CA on March 31, 2017. Originally from Tennessee, Ray had lived in the Inland Empire for over 50 years. He honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired as a Tech Sergeant after twenty plus years of service.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Sue and their son Michael Griggs.
He is survived by his children Jennifer (Stephen) Clark and Randy (Sheila) Griggs; Michael’s wife Janie; his sister JoCarol Griggs-Frost, along with his four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A catered luncheon will immediately follow the services
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ray’s memory to 'City of Hope Hospital'. Ray will be laid to rest alongside Sue in Tennessee.
