Precilla Richards' Obituary
Precilla Richards, age 76, passed away Monday, April 5th, 2021. Precilla was a 50-plus year residence of the San Bernardino/Highland area.
Precilla is preceding in death by her husband Larry and daughter Dianna. She is survived by her two sons Larry and Robert. Precilla will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Precilla was born September 2nd, 1944 to Anastacio and Juanita Segura and grew up in Hale Center, Texas with her 11 brothers and sisters.
Precilla and Larry were married for 53 years before his passing. They loved each other dearly building their life together. Precilla worked full time most of her life in varied occupations. She worked in the cotton fields of Texas, as a waitress, and in the sales office for Manheim Auto Auctions in Fontana where she eventually retired.
Precilla was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was just about at every game, play, recital, award ceremony, or event they had. Sporting events were her favorite and a common question amongst family was, “Whose job was it to tackle grandma if she tries to run on the field?”
A viewing will be held on Friday April 23rd, 2021 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Chapel services will be on Saturday April 24th, 2021 also at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel at 10:00 am. Reception to follow at the American Legion, 1532 Church St, Redlands CA 92374
Internment will be May 3rd, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
