Pietrina Victoria Termini's Obituary
Pietrina (Patti) Victoria Termini peacefully passed away on December 01, 2021 with her loving husband Nicholas (Nick) J. Termini by her side. Patti was born on May 18th, 1943 in Rochester, NY by Joseph and Antoinette Giordano. She graduated from Irondequoit High School.
Patti attended UCLA until she returned to Rochester to care for her father, where she graduated with a Master’s of Art from The University of Rochester in 1967. It was there she met the love of her life, Nick, who after taking her graduating class photos, grabbed her hand and refused to let it go until she agreed to a date. Married soon after, they moved cross country to California and raised a family living 48 years in San Bernardino. Patti and Nick celebrated their 53rd Anniversary May 19th.
Patti received another Masters of Science from Cal State San Bernardino in Psychology and passionately worked for 32 years as a mediator for the San Bernardino County Family Court Services.
Patti contributed benevolently to her community through numerous activities, where she dedicated long hours providing legal assistance at the local legal aid clinic of San Bernardino. She gave counseling support to battered women at the Bethlehem House, and produced a televised series about local legal issues on PBS. Patti found it in her heart to devote her energy to many charity organizations, like Candlelighters, where she wrote grants that were successfully funded to support their efforts. Her interests included cooking and reading as she always had a book in her hand and she adored dancing, especially to Elvis Presley.
Patti is survived by her loving husband Nicholas J Termini, her children Paul E. Termini and Victoria Nicole Deycard, and her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Viewing services will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, December 9th at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave in San Bernardino, CA .
