Phyllis A. Fernendez, 80, passed away in Chula Vista, CA. A former resident of San Bernardino, Phyllis was a teacher’s aide for the Colton Unified School District for 15 years. She is survived by her children: George Fernandez Sr, Gilda Alaniz, Gabriel, Gary, Norberto, Geraldine and JoAnn Fernandez. Phyllis was “Nana” to 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held Monday January 28, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 Baseline, Highland, CA with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Highland and Waterman, San Bernardino, CA
