PHILIP LAWRENCE SANDAHL, JR.'s Obituary
Surrounded by his family, Philip Lawrence Sandahl Jr, died at his home on November 27, 2007 at the age of 86. A native of San Bernardino, Philip graduated from San Bernardino High School, served in the army during WWII and retired after 27 years with San Bernardino City Water Department. Philip was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Community. Philip dedicated his retirement years to his wife Lucille, 5 children, Janice Kaping, Jim Sandahl, John Sandahl, Jerry Sandahl, Theresa Vander Woude, 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. A memorial Rosary will be held Friday November 30, 2007 at 6:00PM a with a Mass of Christian Burial held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00PM both at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church 796 W. 48th St., San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery San Bernardino, CA.
