Philip Russell Parrish's Obituary
Philip Russell Parrish, 64, longtime resident of Hawthorne, CA passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Torrance, CA.
Phil is survived by his loving wife Gracie of 40 years, daughter, Michele and husband, Henry of St. George, Utah, son, Michael and wife, Hatha Parrish of Inglewood, CA, 10 grandchildren and a brother, William Parrish of Torrance, CA.
After high school Phil joined the U.S. Navy. Following his honorable discharge he became employed in the air cargo transportation business for 38 years having just retired several years ago with Federal Express.
Parish rosary will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 215 Lomita St., El Segundo, CA 90245.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at St. Anthony's.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Ave. Culver City, CA 90230.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be left in Phil's memory to "Priests For Life" P.O. Box 141172 Staten Island, NY 10314
