PAULINE ROSE BERBERICH's Obituary
Pauline Rose Berberich born in Bristol, Colorado May 20, 1913. Pauline grew up on a farm in Holly, CO; with her mother, father, and 9 brothers and sisters. She moved to Denver, CO; after graduation from high school and received her RN degree from St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. While in Denver she met and married her life-long partner, Ernest J. Berberich. Shortly thereafter the newly married couple migrated to California. Living most of her life in the Inland Empire (Redlands, San Bernardino and Highland) Polly worked as a RN at the San Bernardino County Medical Center for 25 years. Polly belonged to Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 23 years and St. Adelaide Catholic Church for 27 years. She also belonged to the Italian Federation and Martha’s Club. She took blood pressures at Valencia Lea Mobile Home Park for 25 years. Polly loved her family, neighbors, and friends. She had a penchant for travel, movies, playing cards, and bingo, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Polly was a strong and beautiful woman and will be missed by her 4 children, Joseph E. Berberich, Mary Anne Collins (Ron Collins), Helen Henry (Bill Henry), and Theresa Smith (Dave Dolfi), her 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 siblings, Mandy McMillan and Joseph Tonozzi, and by all those whose lives she touched. Rosary will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM, both at St. Adelaide Catholic Church in Highland. Immediately follow the Mass a reception will be held at the church with a Committal Service at Hillside Cemetery in Redlands at 2:00 PM.
