Mr. Paul Joseph Kanka's Obituary
Paul Joseph Kanka passed away at home on August 29, 2013, at the age of 81. He was the first born son to Phillip Thomas Kanka and Elizabeth Agnes Smotrilla, in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mavis, his brother, Edward, four children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He proudly served his country from 1949 to 1971 in the United States Air Force. He was an active member of American Legion Post 421 and Past Commander of Post 14, serving as the American Legion District 25 Commander from 1987 to 1988. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
