Paul William Bigley Jr's Obituary
Mr. Paul W. Bigley, Jr., son of the late Paul W. Bigley and Gladys Edmonds Bigley, was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1939.
He was united in holy matrimony to Elenita Rubio Bigley on April 19, 1988. This union was blessed with love, trust, understanding and affection.
Paul dedicated 26 years of faithful service to the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant, E7. His career was divided between aircraft maintenance, photographic/interpretation and operational flying in which he accumulated 7,000 flying hours. He was an Aircraft Loadmaster Technician for (12) years and was assigned at C-141 on TDY status. he was also a member of the 14th Military Airlift Squadron.
After his retirement from the Untied States Air Force, he dedicated another 15 years of faithful service to the United States Post Office, totaling Forty-One (41) years of government service. His interests included going to museums, looking at antique places, reading news, watching classic car shows and science fiction movies. He had a generous spirit and a pleasant personality. He had speech difficulty due to his stroke in 2003 and this became a drag in his social life. Nevertheless, his high spirit and positive attitude compensated for the impediment.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his siblings, Joanne Evans, Kathy Ricker, Roger Bigley, brother-in-law, Richard, all from Erie, Pennsylvania; his children, Paul W. Bigley III of Pahrump, NV, Lori Armstrong, of Shelton, WA, Janine Vega, of Klko, NV and Kim of Federal Way, WA; 9 granchildren, Cassandra Bowers, Maria Bigley, Bandette Row, Brannen Row, Shaylee Armstrang, Jamie Vega, Jessi Vega, Hannah Kim and Samantha Kim; 12 great grandchildren, Darren Bowers, Kuaree Gallaher, Ramando Armstrong, Teagan Bigley, Braiden Bigley, Emma Bigley, Zoey Row, Shawna Row, Adin Armstrong, Terrik Armstrong, Olivia Vega, and Mia Vega; and host of devoted nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Paul's name to California Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund.
