Patricia Brown Strohecker's Obituary
Patricia Brown Strohecker, 85, a 17-year resident of Palm Desert, CA, died on November 10, 2015 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. Patricia was born in Redfield, SD to Floyd James Brown and Dorothy Neal Brown.
Patricia is survived by three daughters and a son - Katrina Strohecker Garland, Carolyn Strohecker, Christine Mango, Eric Strohecker; five grandchildren - Brent, Troy and Kurt Garland; Juliana and Brooke Mango; and brother, Neil J. Brown of Rialto. She was preceded in death by three siblings, William Garth Brown, Philip Mack Brown, Diane Brown.
Patricia graduated from San Bernardino H.S., San Bernardino Valley College and Cal State University San Bernardino. She was an Airline Stewardess for United Airlines in the 1950’s and remained active with the stewardess alumnae organization Clipped Wings and Dusty Wings; also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and CSUSB Alumni Association. Pat was a federal retiree who worked at the Social Security Administration for over twenty years.
A memorial mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on November 24 at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino. All are invited to attend and celebrate Patricia’s life.
