Patricia Ann Scott's Obituary
Patricia Ann Scott (Ryan) passed away on June 1, 2025, just shy of her 95th birthday.
Born in Seattle, Washington, Patricia graduated from Forest Ridge High School in 1948 and the University of Washington in 1952, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She met her husband, Richard “Scotty,” while working at Boeing. They married in 1956 and shared 36 wonderful years together before his passing in 1992.
Patricia was the loving mother of Carol and Edward, and proud grandmother to Sara, Daniel, and Nikki. She was also the sister of Kay, who passed in 2001. Patricia worked at Cal State San Bernardino for 15 years and was a devoted member of her parish at Our Lady of the Assumption.
She loved spending time on Camano Island, gardening, quilting, collecting antiques, traveling with friends and family, enjoying a good gin and tonic, and being with her beloved dogs, Theo and Phoebe.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in San Bernardino, California. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the City of Hope in Patricia's honor.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
