Patricia Dell Richardson's Obituary
Patricia Dell Richardson, 85, of San Bernardino, went to be with the Lord on 12/29/2023. Born on 02/09/1938 in Gary, Indiana to James and Katharine Misken. She was a resident of San Bernardino for 70 years and graduated from Pacific High School in 1956.
She worked for 15 years as a computer programmer for Norton Air Force Base, was a small business owner of “Tricia’s Art Korner” and an artist. She was a member of St. Paul’s UMC/New Beginnings UMC for 67 years, church choir soprano, Beta Sigma Pi-Xi Pi Sigma Chapter of San Bernardino Sorority for 52 years, Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader and Arrowhead Council Trainer, Lighthouse for the Blind Volunteer, Past Pleasures Classic Car Club, Prime Time Choraliers and American Sewing Guild. Patricia received the Silver Fawn Award by Boy Scouts of America and was elected Laureate for Beta Sigma Sorority.
Tricia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Johnnie Richardson, sister Carol (John) Strum, daughter Gaylyn (Kenneth) Mowrer, 6 grandchildren: Krystal (Brian) Clark, Brittany (Adam) Ek, Holly Richardson, Kelcie (Richard) Waibel, Delanna Mowrer & Wyatt Mowrer, 6 great grandchildren, her life-time friend Pamela Firestone, as well as many extended family members and friends. She is proceeded in death by her father and mother James and Katharine Misken, brother Jimmie Misken and beloved son Stephen Richardson.
A viewing will be held on Monday, 01/22/2024 from 5 pm – 7 pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 01/23/2024 at 10:00 am at New Beginnings UMC followed by a Graveside Service at Montecito Memorial Park at 1:30 pm.
