Patricia Joyce Hale, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Mtn. Ridge Assisted Living, in So. Ogden, UT. She was born on March 17, 1922 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of William Frederick and Bessie Maria Payne.
She married Arvil Hale on October 7, 1944 in San Bernardino, California. They were married for 62 years.
Joyce taught elementary school in the San Bernardino area until her retirement in 1986.
Joyce is survived by her son Douglas, daughter-in-law Cindy and grandsons Geoffrey and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arvil and her two sisters Grace Hall and Marjorie Stavenhagen. .
A Memorial service will be held Thursday the 21st of July at 2pm at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel N “D” Street in San Bernardino.
