So sorry to hear of your loss. Pat was a dear friend for a long time. I worked with her at the Building Department over 30 years ago and we always stayed in touch. I was so happy when she moved to Yucaipa so I could pick her up easier to "do lunch" once in awhile. (Mike and Joey - I was the one in the white Ridgeline). There is one incident I always remembered not long after I met her at Building and Safety. She was training me at the front counter and a really upset contractor wanted me to process his request in a way we were told not to do and was giving me a hard time. Pat walked up next to me, put her hand on my shoulder and said, "is this old grouch giving you a hard time, and then to him, what can I help with?" He calmed right down. She had a way about her and they all respected her very much. She was one of the ones I really missed after moving to Idaho. May God Bless and Comfort all of you.##imported-begin##Bonnie Barno##imported-end##
