My mothers most recent goal was to live to 100 years old. She endured a huge surgery for anyone, let alone a woman of her age. This represents a life of determination and true meaning of pushing through difficult things to get to the other joy filled side. This was probably the most valuable of many lessons she taught me. I’m so sorry she didn’t reach her goal.
She was an amazing mom, teaching lessons all along the way. She was the most giving grandma to her grandchildren and so very proud of her great-grandchildren.
We will miss her but each of carries her determination inside.
